“Yoga strengthens your body, calms your mind, and brings happiness to your soul – this is what I love about yoga.”

My goal as a yoga teacher is to inspire students of all levels to achieve their personal goals and reach their full potential in every practice. Working with students individually and helping them to do their best every time they step onto the mat makes me the happiest. As I am still learning German, I do my best to teach all my classes in German.

My yoga journey began in 2008 at the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I was fascinated by the intense physical exercises of this powerful style and soon fell in love with the hot yoga experience. From 2008 to 2011, I continued my explorations and practiced Bikram Yoga, also in Cambridge, Massachusetts. During this time, I began to realize that yoga can be much more than just a workout. Regular practice helped me control and eventually overcome a metabolic imbalance that had required me to take daily medication for several years. In 2012, I returned to Thailand with the dream of sharing the joys and benefits of yoga with as many people as possible.

In June 2013, I completed the 200-hour hot yoga training at the Absolute Yoga Sanctuary in Koh Samui, Thailand. After this training, I found a wonderful “yoga home” and my first opportunity to teach at Yoga Republic in Phuket, working as a private yoga teacher for private clients. I am deeply grateful to Jack Farras and all my friends at Yoga Republic for the wonderful time I had at Yoga Republic, where I also met my husband Ulf.

In 2015, I traveled to Mysore, India, to complete an Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher training with Ajay Kumar, Yoga Acharya. This wonderful experience opened my eyes to new levels of teaching and practicing yoga.

In April 2017, I found my new home in Chiang Rai, where I run my own yoga retreat. For two years, I offered retreats including yoga and meditation classes, yoga nidra, vegan and healthy eating and cooking classes, and much more.

In June 2018, I returned to India for a month to reconnect with the spiritual roots of yoga at Yoga Vidya Gurukul Ashram and learn more about yoga philosophy, pranayama (breathing techniques), shatkarmas (cleansing techniques), and meditation. I received certification in traditional Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra – yogic sleep.

In April 2019, I moved to Hamburg with my husband and started working as a private yoga teacher again.

In 2023, we moved to the countryside in beautiful Nusse, where I was able to fulfill my dream of having my own garden. Now I hope that with our yoga studio, we can create another great opportunity for the village community to live a healthy and happy life in the countryside.
